The 1993 Nutmeg State Games saw close to 6,000 of Connecticut's best amateur athletes compete in 30 different sports. The Opening Ceremonies, though rescheduled due to inclement weather, were immensely successful and finals week competition ran smoothly under sunny skies. This was all made possible by people like yourselves who donated your time and expertise to make the entertainment portion of Opening Ceremonies enjoyable to athletes, coaches, parents, spectators and all others involved in the festivities. On behalf of the A.C.E.S. Parent Association I would like to sincerely thank you for the time and talent that you donated to our association on April 23, 1993 for our annual Spring Fling Dance. The music that you provided for us was just wonderful. There was a good mixture of oldies, line dances and more modern selections.
